Easy active day tours
In the south of Chile, to edges of the Lake and to the feet of the Volcano Villarrica, are located the cities of Villarrica and Pucón, both enjoy spectacular beauty and abundance of rivers, lakes, forests and thermal water among others attractive. Well acquaintance is that the hot springs are a privilege of the zone and the visitors enjoy them better in the months out of season, before the arrival of tourists in the months of summer. This program invites them actively to enjoy this beautiful zone of easy access by ground or air, combining the rafting in the River Trancura, horseback riding in the high zones of Palguín, climbing to the volcano Villarrica and hiking in the national park Huerquehue. Day 1 TEMUCO-PUCON (half day whitewater rafting)
We meet at the Temuco's airport and transfer to Pucon. Accommodation at the hotel. Afternoon we will descend white water rapids in rubber rafts is a refreshing adventure for the whole family. The descent of lower Trancura takes about 1 hour and half. These rafts have a capacity for 8 to 10 persons. We supply experienced guides, life jacket, windbreaker, helmet and a clean towel. Please wear: sneakers or sandals, swim suit and a change of clothes. Return back to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 2 PUCON (Hike to the top of volcano Villarrica, full day climbing)
Breakfast. We will depart at 7 a.m. (depending on the weather conditions) and drive to the ski center. The climb is made in about 6 or 8 hours. It is not a technical climb, and average slopes between 25 and 35 degrees. Climbing to the crater of this live volcano is an unforgettable adventure for local and foreign travelers alike.
We supply everything that is needed: experienced bilingual speaking guides, boots, crampons, ice axe, windbreaker, glasses, gloves, backpack, and constant communication between the guide and our base in Pucon.
Participants must be older than 14 years old, and must be in good physical condition. Clothing needed: a warm sweater or polar fleece, loose and warm trousers (jogging pants), long sleeve shirt, an extra pair socks and sun block. Return back to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 3 PUCON (Huerquehue National Park, full day trekking or relaxing in Hot springs)
Breakfast. Huerquehue National Park: At 35 kms. from Pucon you will experience one of the most beautiful parks in the region. Lake like Tinquilco, Toro, Verde, Chico makes this park a must in your visit to Pucon. You will be immersed in abundance vegetation, Araucaria trees, water falls and nature at its best. Other may prefer a day tour in a Hot springs: there are more than 8 hot springs in the whole area, privileged with thermal baths. The most known are Termas del Huife, Palguín, menetué and San Luís. Only 45 min. from Pucon you will enjoy a relaxing swim in the large hot pools or dip in one of the private cabins will put you in harmony with nature. You may choose any of them. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 4 PUCON-TEMUCO
Breakfast. Transfer to the Temuco's airport.
