program from General Carrera Lake, Austral Road
Southern Coyhaique, Lake General Carrera is one of the most beautiful
places of the Chilean Patagonia. Very near the lake lie two extraordinary
sites: West is the famous "Campos de Hielos Norte," the
world's closest ice field to the Equator, on which rises Mount Saint
Valentin (4,058m), only few kilometers from San Rafael Lagoon; and
South is Baker River, a fishermen's paradise, and Lake Cochrane where
Mount San Lorenzo rises to 3700 m. You will discover a pioneer's land,
only recently opened to tourists thanks to several programs that allow
you to enjoy infinity of activities and appreciate the comfort, the
familiar atmosphere and excellent gastronomy of Terra Luna lodge,
with wonderful views on the lake and the surroundings glaciers.
Terra Luna is located in Puerto Guadal bay renowned for its exceptional
micro-climate that allows to visit the area ALL YEAR ROUND and realize
numerous activities from water sports (kayak, fly fishing, …)
to winter sports (cross country skiing, snow shoes,…) according
to the period of the year you visit us. The lodge, located in a 6ha
private land with more than 400m of "beach", is open all
year round and offers extraordinary view on the lake and the surrounding
mountains. Its infrastructure, its panoramic jacuzzi, its leisure
room totally equipped for conferences and inclusive "discotheque",
make Terra Luna a unique place, much appreciated even in case of eventual
bad weather. We offer several "all inclusive" conventional
and soft adventure programs as well as simple lodging with optional
services and activities for the unexpected visitors. |

| A/ THE
LODGE: |
| - The lodge
is a big wood Georgian style building (300m2) with 4 triplex apartments
(for maximum 5 adults or 4 adults and 2 children) a common terrace,
a common "restaurant" and a common leisure room totally
equipped for conferences, slide shows, and even "discothèque"
(for special occasions). Each apartment has 2 double rooms, 1 single
room (transformable in a double room for children), 1 toilet and 1
living room with direct access on the terrace. Each apartment can
be used as "hotel" rooms (maximum 2 person/apart) for couples
of persons that do not want to share facilities with others or as
an "apart-hotel" if used by friends or family groups (maximum
6 person/apart). There is no kitchen in the apartments. Meals must
be taken in the common "restaurant" area. Lodge is the "all
inclusive" first lodging option. |

| B/ THE
FAMILY HOUSE: |
- The main
house is a nice 2 floor (75m2) Georgian style house for 2, 3, 4, 5,
6 or max 8 persons (considering living room sofa) with 2 bed rooms
(1 DWB and 1 QDL) , 1 living room, 1 kitchenette, 1 mezzanine, 1 bathroom,
terrace etc... This is perfect for a family or small group of friends
who want a total independence (as a group). The house is mainly reserved
to simple lodging requests. The main house users share the bathroom
and toilet.
This main house also has a mini-studio annex for one or maximum 2
persons and that can be used in case of big groups (up to 10 persons)
or single passengers. This mini studio is a small 9m2 room with all
facilities (toilet, shower, mini-kitchen, etc...) but it does not
have any view. It has "wall-hanged" beds, and is connected
to the main house by a roofed terrace. In case of a unique group,
persons that are sleeping in the mini-studio can share all the common
areas of the main house, as if they were sleeping in one of the normal
bedrooms. |

| C/ BUNGALOW
JACUZZI: |
| Terra Luna
has an independent bungalow that shelters a panoramic Jacuzzi (for
2 persons). This bungalow is located in a small hood and offers the
best view of the area. This bungalow is also offered as a lodging
option for 2 persons. |

| D/ THE
CAVE: |
| Nice mini-bungalow
(18m2) for 2 persons totally equipped (hot shower, toilet, fridge,
kitchen area, and phone) with beds in a mezzanine, just like in a
refuge. This bungalow has a terrace and a parking. Best place for
low budget couples or visitors. |

Tues COYHAIQUE (BALMACEDA) - TERRA LUNA |
| Departure
from Coyhaique or reception at Balmaceda's airport. We follow the
Austral road to Puerto Guadal. On the way, we do a boat excursion
(if possible) to the "Capilla de Mármol", fantastic
maze of caves carved by the millenary waves of the lake. Arrival to
Puerto Guadal. Welcome drinks and overnight in Terra Luna lodge on
the shore of Lake General Carrera. (L,D) |

Wen TERRA LUNA |
| Full day
in the area of Puerto Guadal where you can enjoy several excursions
(Baker River, lakes, fossils, glaciers, etc...) and activities like
trekking, mountain biking, horse back riding, fishing, etc... (See
description of activities and excursions). For those who want to live
a unique experience, we highly recommend a flight over the Northern
Ice fields and Mount Saint Valentín (4057m) to San Rafael Lagoon
(optional). This option is actually the cheapest to visit that National
Park. Plane can pick you up close to Terra Luna. Back to the lodge.

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Basic program requires a minimum of 2 persons to be confirmed.
- All local flights Coyhaique-Chile Chico or Chile Chico-Coyhaique,
are included in these "All Inclusive" programs. These
flights are normally operated from Teniente Vidal airport (Coyhaique)
and NOT Balmaceda. Nevertheless, Terra Luna Program includes the
special stop-over in Balmaceda, but coordination of ALL PASSENGERS
SCHEDULES and itinerary is very important to avoid further problems.
Passenger's itinerary and national flight schedules must be CONFIRMED
for each group in order to coordinate it with the local airline...
Local flights maximum luggage weight is 15kg.
- All local flights included in these programs are local airline
regular flights. These flights are subject to changes, delays,
cancellations etc... These modifications are done by the airline
(for any kind of reasons) and they are NOT a responsibility of
Terra Luna. Any additional cost due to these changes has to be
paid by passengers.

programs beginning on Fridays (and ending on Mondays): |
- First day flight arrival (from Santiago) in Coyhaique must be
before 11:00 a.m. in order to connect with the local flight to
Chile Chico.
- Local plane will be specially asked to pick you up directly
in Balmaceda (it is not its normal route). Please inform us about
passenger's national flights schedules.
- Last day flight departure (to Santiago) on Mondays must be after
3 p.m.
Note: Passengers can arrive in Coyhaique one day earlier or leave
one day later Terra Luna programs

All inclusive
programs include the free use of the panoramic jacuzzi, mountain bikes,
etc. The described excursions are provided with specialized bilingual
guide. Lunch can be replaced by a box lunch in case of full-day activity
out of Terra Luna.
People traveling along can be also lodge in the Mini-studio (with
own facilities) at the double cost. Nevertheless, if this option is
not accepted by this client will be possible to offer an apartment
with a single supplement. |

Have a bath and relax after a day of sport or in case of bad weather. |

Terra Luna can borrow you some fishing equipments (amateur) to try
your chance on the shore of the lake. |

EXCURSIONS: Use our zodiac to navigate, the lake of your choice (General
Carrera, Plomo, Bertrand, Leones, etc....) |

| D/ MOUNTAIN
BIKE: Rent a bike and ride on the trails and tracks of Patagonia. |

| E/ TREKKING:
If you like trekking, Terra Luna proposes infinity of alternatives.
We offer from a simple day trek to a several days real explorations
to remote glacier valleys. |

| F/ MOUNTAINEERING:
All the surrounding summits can be climbed with our specialized mountain
guide. We offer climbs from day climbs (all public) to a 22 days expedition
to mount San Valentin (4058m). Only for experts. |

| G/ RAFTING:
Raft the Baker river! A unique experience for the whole family. Very
soft rafting (class II) in a unique landscape. Rafting programs start
from a 2 hours raft to a 6 days adventure raft to Caleta Tortel. |

| H/ HORSEBACK
RIDING: For horseback riding lovers, Terra Luna offers from a simple
half day ride to 5 days horseback excursions in the surrounding mountains
and valleys (Soler valley, Leones valley, San Lorenzo mountain range,
Jenimeni lake and La Leona valley, etc...) |

| I/ KAYAKING:
Do some kayaking on the shores of the lake or get down one of the
so many rivers. A different approach! |

| J/ FLOATING-PLANE
FLIGHTS AND WATER LANDINGS: * Feel the maximum freedom! Use the hydroplane
like a taxi that picks you up on your doorstep. Fly to the most beautiful
places and land in the most remote lakes with incredible glaciers:
Lago Leones, Lago Cochrane, Lago Brown, Laguna San Rafael, etc. A
flight over the ice fields around San Valentin Mount and to San Rafael
lagoon. |

GAMES: Terra Luna has a game area for children and a "petanque"
court for the adults. |

possible. This room is also totally equipped as a "discotheque"
